Danielle is the owner, alongside her husband Num and Artistic Director of Bohiti. Danielle designed the salon and created the concept; An ammonia free environmental concept salon with the training and education for the staff of the highest standard, to ensure the client satisfaction is second to none and enabling the team to truly work together.
Danielle has 11 years hairdressing experience and is very passionate about what she does. As well as running the business and training the staff she specializes in colouring, precision cutting, hair ups and bridal hair, perming/texture work and setting, styling and finishing, hair extensions, and permanent straightening. Her greatest passion is high fashion hair for photo shoots, and competitions this has seen Danielle receive several awards throughout her career including, an honorable mention in the 2006 CHI Colour Challenge, 3rd Place in the Victorian Regional Hairdressing Awards for Open Fashion Colour, State Finalist for The ECO Face of IHS competition 2009, and two National Finalists positions for the ECO CHI Woman Competion 2010.
Included in her achievements is receiving a scholarship under the industry experts as teachers program. Danielle is currently undertaking Certificate IV in training and assessment, Certificate IV in hairdressing, then a Diploma in Salon Management which will recognize her as a qualified teacher. This education will be of great benefit to Bohiti and the rest of the staff as it will enable Danielle to build on the already extensive training program Bohiti runs for its apprentices, and also allow her to conduct a lot of the training that would otherwise be done at Tafe in the salon.
